On February 27 2024, Orsolya Ring and László Kiss presented their paper titled “Uncovering Disinformation: Analyzing The Thematic Patterns And Emotional Content Of Hungarian Fake News Portals During The COVID-19 Pandemic And The Ukrainian War” at the EDMO (European Digital Media Observatory) Scientific Conference in Amsterdam. This study aims to understand the patterns of fake news with advanced AI-based approaches such as LDA topic modelling and state-of-the-art large language models.
